The diversity of views from this property is unmatched. In every direction you look you can see something totally different. From the aspens in full color to Moab and Canyonland below. We were also fortunate to watch a number of storms come across the valley. They were absolutely mesmerizing to watch. We hope to return soon!!

The cabin itself was modern and clean. The view from the property was beautiful, and the area was relatively isolated and quiet. Expect to take an hour to get from Moab to the property, no matter the route. And if you get off the "main" routes, don't be surprised if even a 4x4 truck has trouble navigating some of the nearby "forest roads."

The remote location, on the mountain made this stay magical. Once you get over the precarious road up, it’s all relaxation.

Great property, easy to rent. Great follow up

We loved our stay. It was a nice secluded spot for us to retreat after a day of adventures. We cooked, snuggled, and watched movies while we recouped for the next days adventures. Would definitely stay again!.

Overall great time. Beautiful views. And nice and remote. It is a haul up to the cabin, and a bit rough up to he north road. But it’s worth the views. The la Sal loop road to the Colorado river has some real amazing views.

This cabin is was the perfect retreat for our week of adventures in Moab! Comfortable bedrooms and everything a family would need. The views, including the night sky, are amazing from every side of the house.

Note: the drive from downtown Moab takes close to an hour So you’ll need to plan for that everyday. Parts of Sand Flats Road are narrow and cliff side…not for the faint of heart! But the sweeping views make it well worthwhile and add to the adventure! Would definitely recommend this rental! Thank you, John and family, for sharing your beautiful mountain cabin with us!

It was a great cabin away from the hustle and bustle of town. Great view! Nice place for family to eat and visit after your activities in Moab. Lots of fun things to explore nearby!

Moab Cabin was beautiful with great views. John was great with keeping in touch with us on our way there and sending us a link for directions since we would be arriving after dark. There was an issue when we arrived but John was very responsive when we called and very polite. I would definitely recommend The Moab Cabin.

This is our third stay at the cabin and each time it’s different - in the best of ways. Blissfully remote but with easy access to the national parks, world-class biking trails and barely touched hiking spots. The owners are communicative and take great care of their guests. Highly recommended - we’ll be back again!

Had a great time - cabin was awesome! Away from it all, but still had the amenities that a family with three teenage daughters would need! Beautiful surroundings, lots of great hiking, wildlife (the hummingbirds were amazing to watch), and we got to see a few storms roll in over the mountains which were a site to see! If you are looking for a place away from the noise - this is it!

This property is just as advertised. Secluded and peaceful. The views from the deck are amazing. Stars pop at night. Sunset over the canyon and sunrise over the mountains behind are beautiful. The Owner describes the drive in accurately although, he doesn't capture how amazing the views and terrain are along the route. This is a great property for a home base to explore all that the Moab area has to offer while also avoiding the crowds. The Owner was quick to communicate and extremely helpful. He answered all our questions promptly and gave helpful tips when requested. We would definitely come back again in the future.

We loved the cabin. The description is very accurate - it is out in the mountain/woods and takes a bit to get to as described. The views are shockingly beautiful and the absolute quiet except for nature sounds is very rare. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. The large wrap around deck was a great place to sit and enjoy the nature that surrounds it. Because of the length of travel time, it does impact ones activities plans. I'd love to see the upstairs carpet replaced as it is dingy and wrinkled in several places.

On a clear night, the stars are amazing from this location.

We had a great stay at the Moab Cabin - the location is peaceful and surrounded by spectacular views. Really a special place to spend time re-energizing and as a base to explore the Moab area. The property owner was very helpful with our questions and helping us with a detail or two on the cabin. The drive from Moab to the cabin is stunning and worth the trip alone. We would highly recommended the cabin!
